Disclosures

Because I do consulting and market research for Ipsos Vantis, and speak and/or attend meetings, meetups, webinars, and conferences around the world that I write about, there are inevitable conflicts. I have friends, colleagues, past associates, and family members working in some of the organizations that I discuss in this blog and a dress while presenting in public, and I have advised some of the companies mentioned in this blog.

When there is a potential conflict, I will call it out at the bottom of the post like this.

Review Policy

I do occasionally review products including hardware, software, online services and web sites in the consumer electronics (music, video, gaming, entertainment, content, digital home), digital and social media, mobile/telecomm, and PC market segments as that’s been the nature of my role as a technology industry analyst for many years. However, receipt of a product does not automatically mean a review, as my primary focus is market research and consulting at Ipsos Vantis, where I focus on early product and service development research. Thank you in advance for understanding.

I occasionally review and suggest books on this blog, usually in the social media, digital media, and paid (TV, radio, print) and earned (social) marketing spaces. A receipt of a book does not automatically mean a review or recommendation, but I will do my best. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
